ELECTRICAL THERMOGRAPHY
Electrical Thermography & Thermal Inspection
Thermography can help identify abnormal heating at accessible electrical components under suitable operating conditions. Images are interpreted together with load, emissivity and environmental context.
What we review
- Distribution panels, busbar joints and cable terminations
- MCCB, ACB, contactor and feeder connection areas
- APFC panels, capacitor-bank connections and other accessible equipment
- Temperature patterns compared with similar loaded components
What you can expect
- Thermal images and relevant visible photographs
- Noted load or operating conditions and hotspot locations
- Prioritised inspection or corrective recommendations
Before we begin
These questions help us understand the site and propose a suitable scope.
- Is equipment available at representative operating load?
- Which panels or equipment are included?
- Are access and site safety arrangements in place?
Important scope note
A thermal image alone does not prove the root cause. Electrical isolation and authorised inspection may still be required.
